Brandt + Danielle

Last week I traveled to Carlisle, Pennsylvania to shoot engagement photos for Brandt + Danielle. We shot all around the streets and campus of Dickinson's Law School, where Brandt recently graduated from. I loved the little alleyways and tucked away corners of the town that made for some beautiful portraits! Seeing how photogenic and happy they are together makes me so excited to photograph their wedding next year! Enjoy some of my favorite images from their session below! -Brooke

Greg + Megan

A few weeks ago I took Greg + Megan to a few spots around Manheim that I had been waiting a while to photograph at! This is my favorite time of year in Lancaster. As summer turns to fall, the colors are like none other. My favorite moment during our session was when we traveled to photograph under the huge tree you'll see below. We had to park by a Kellogg's factory to walk over and the second we stepped out of the car my nose was filled with the glorious smell of what I'm convinced was Cocoa Rice Krispies. We shared stories of odd jobs, lots of laughs and had a great evening! I'm definitely looking forward to their wedding next year! -Jeff

Hannah

A few weeks ago I got to photograph a very special person in my life, my soon to be sister-in-law Hannah! We'd been talking for months about making this happen and after a few cancellations, we had a perfect evening to wander around town and capture some senior photos. Being away from my own family has been hard at times and I'm so thankful for having Hannah and her family nearby. I could go on for quite sometime about how awesome she is... how she's an amazing golfer, wits like none other and is hilarious to be around! But honestly, Hannah has the best idea's for family gatherings! I was so happy that she asked me to photograph her, and am even happier to be calling her a sister. Here are a few captures from our session! -Jeff

Alex + Elise

Last year, right around this time, I shot the beautiful, sun-filled wedding of Alex + Elise. It was one of my favorites from last fall, so naturally I was thrilled when Elise asked me to shoot 1 year anniversary photos for them. They traveled to Lancaster for their session and we drove around to a few spots I'd been wanting to shoot at for awhile. It was really nice catching up with them and capturing their love all over again. I absolutely love shooting this time of year, the light is just incredible. Enjoy my favorites! -Brooke

Kit + Diggory

I rarely shoot kids and family photos, but when I do it's often of people I actually know. So I was very excited to shoot the beautiful children of Rob + Keara, who I went to high school with, and even shot their wedding video years ago. I had seen photos of their kids on Facebook and knew they were both adorable red heads... so I was pumped for our session.

Both Kit (who just turned one and recently started walking) and Diggory were incredibly well behaved. It was amazing. We were all a little shocked actually. In addition to being well behaved and super cute, Diggory is obsessed with cars. All kinds of cars. So naturally we ended our session by giving him the keys to his self proclaimed "best friend's" (his Great Grandma) car. It was great.

Enjoy some of my favorites! -Brooke

Samantha

Today I get to share Samantha's senior photos with you - and I love each and every single image from our shoot. She is seriously beautiful inside and out, and not to mention quite photogenic. I can't seem to choose a favorite photo, but I think the ones in the green dress might be my favorite. Which is yours!? -Brooke

Joy

Several weeks ago Joy traveled from Philadelphia to my little town of Manheim so I could shoot portraits for her website. Joy is an incredibly talented designer and illustrator and needed a handful of new images to update her site. So, that's where I came in!

We walked around town for a bit and then ended up at my parents house to finish the session. It was so ridiculously hot. It was pretty awful... but the photos turned out beautifully despite the heat!

Be sure to check out Joy and bookmark her site - it's quite inspiring! -Brooke

Nick + Alyssa

In the months leading up to this shoot, my e-mail conversations with Alyssa assured me that photographing her and Nick would be nothing less than spectacular. Something that makes my job so enjoyable is that I get to meet new people almost every week. And sharing stories about love and marriage is uplifting and fun, especially since I'm in the midst of wedding planning myself! I knew of Nick + Alyssa through one of our previous brides (and current second shooter) Liz! I was so excited to take them to some locations around town that I've never gotten to use before. I can't wait to capture their wedding in September! -Jeff

Jay + Blythe

I met Blythe last Christmas when she applied to be a walk in love. model for our Christmas 2012 lookbook. I knew as soon as I read her little bio and saw her photos that she'd be a breeze to photograph. So naturally, I was thrilled when she got engaged and asked me to shoot her engagement photos.

Jay + Blythe have been together for several years and from the little I know about them seem perfect together. They were both incredibly easy going and comfortable in front of the camera. Defintely my favorite type of people to shoot, especially on wedding days. (Cough, cough, hire me, cough.)

Enjoy a handful of images from their engagement session. I really do love each and every photograph! -Brooke
