We wanted to officially welcome Amber Jacoby to team Brooke Courtney!  

Things you need to know about Amber:

1. She was homeschooled (so was Brooke).  Jeff and I both went to regular school like normal people.

2. She is totally awesome!

3. She is one of the hardest workers I know.

4. She is totally devoted to giving all of her clients an amazing expierence.

5. Even though we don't have a lot of her work on our site (yet!), know that she is completely amazing with a camera.

As part of the workshop today we had a brief photo-session, featuring the newest line of t-shirts from walk in love. clothing. And they look awesome! I didn't get the chance to shoot many photos tonight - but I did fire off a couple - which I posted below... along with a few of Jeff Frandsen's shots.

I am so excited to present you with the information for the first Brooke Courtney Photography Workshop. This half-day intensive workshop will get you excited about your life and challenge you in new ways to find creative solutions for your photography and business. I will ask attendees to participate in questions, conversations and an on location shoot. You'll be able to ask questions, hear my thoughts on branding yourself and learn the basics of owning your own business. The on location photo-shoot will allow you to capture images along side yours truly, followed by a basic overview of how I edit in PS.

However, this workshop isn't for everyone. In order to attend you must be able to say an enthusiastic "Heck yes!" to the following statements:

+ I want to be a full/part time free-lance photographer!

+ I am passionate about photography, art and life!

+ I want to know more about being self-employed and branding my business!

+ I am willing to take the next step, try super hard and NEVER GIVE UP!

+ I have a DLSR. (If you don't know what this is - you probably don't have one.)

INVESTMENT: $300 per person : Includes snacks, dinner and a goodie bag full of incredibleness! (ie: books, magazines, actions and more!) Will also be giving away a shootsac tote!

Just wanted to post a quick update about what we've been up to and where we're headed! Here goes:

1. We recently printed some new items that are now for sale in our walk in love. store. Check them out!

2. T.J. and I have been working on lots of other things too: wedding photos, purchasing new equipment, designing wedding invitations, logos, editing videos, working on new websites, and answering all the emails that YOU send us!

3. On March 6th, we're headed to Las Vegas for a week packed full of fun. Our first stop will be Making Things Happen, Las Vegas. We are SOOO pumped!!! (And THANK YOU Lara for the invite. You're the best.)

4. After MTH, we'll be heading to the Airhorns and Lasers party!

We've been instructed to bring our dancing shoes and prepare to have a good time. And maybe, just maybe, T.J.'s gold spandex will make an appearance. Who knows...

5. And last, but certainly not least, we'll be attending WPPI... our main reason for going to Vegas.

Needless to say we are PUMPED for the next two weeks of our life! Be certain we'll keep y'all updated about everything. :)

From December 22-24th, we are going to have a Walk In Love kiosk at the Park City Mall! Here are two of the promo posters I designed for our time at the mall.
