Why don't you shoot weddings anymore?

Great question. I spent seven years photographing weddings all over the country and really did enjoy it. But it was never my end goal. It has always been my passion and vision to work for the company my husband and I own, walk in love., full time. So, while weddings were great and I enjoyed using my creative talents to capture couple's big days, I always knew I would stop at some point. In April of 2015, just after my daughter June was born, I stopped shooting weddings all together and officially became the art and social media director for walk in love. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made!

What gear do you use?

I have always believed that your gear doesn't make or break your photography, or any creative career, for that matter. That's like saying "Oh hey, you're a great cook. You must have an awesome oven." Psssh! No! However, I do love the gear I have and would highly recommend it.

  • Canon 5D Mark iii
  • Canon 35mm lens
  • Canon 50mm lens
  • Photoshop
  • VSCO presets for Photoshop
  • Batch+ for Photoshop
  • Storyboard for Photoshop
  • iPhone (honestly, I might use this more than my "real" cameras!)
  • VSCO and A Color Story (iPhone apps)

Is T.J. really always that happy?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha! 😂 Yes! For the most part. If you're asking this, I assume you watch T.J.'s Instagram Stories and see him singing and dancing all day long. But that's pretty accurate. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, go ahead and give T.J. a follow - @tjmousetis.

Do you teach any workshops?

At this time, no. I just don't have the time. But I hope to in the future! I will certainly post about it on my social media if and when I decide to host one!

What is a snack tray?

I think the proper definition would be "Basically all T.J. and I eat".. but, you can check out my Snack Tray - The Original post to learn more. Get ready for your life to be changed. Okay that might be an exaggeration... but probably not.

Do you plan to have more kids?

Yes, absolutely.

What makes you laugh?

This. Every single time.
