Okay, I must have a moment of confession here. I may or may not have an obsession with looking at wedding blogs. There's just something about all the joy, the laughter, the creativeness, and the AH-mazing details! Just gives me all sorts of happiness catching a glimpse at the way a couples personality can be seen in each and every detail of a wedding and make it simply magical! So with me, and my love for all things creative, wedding blog stalking is a must. Blogs like, Style Me Pretty, Ruffled, and Green Wedding Shoes, are some of my all time favorites! (which BC has been featured in some of these!) And as you might have guessed Brooke Courtney Photography was always on the top of my list of stalk worthy blogs with all it's glorious creative weddings. So, I'm sure you can all imagine my crazy excitement when I was asked to join, THE, one and only, always awesome, Brooke Courtney Photography team. And the rest is history!
Alyse French Photography, based in Houston TX, was another one of my "gawk worthy" blogs. After a couple months of being her secret admirer, I finally emailed her and that's all where our sweet friendship began Alyse and I decided we just HAD to meet, so she asked me if i'd be interested in traveling down to Texas to assist her with a couple weddings this past April. After recovering from falling out of my chair in excitement, I jumped on that awesome opportunity with out any hesitation. We finally got to meet each other face to face, shot a double header wedding together, and were instant forever friends. Plus, both Alyse, and her husband, Dylan share my love of sushi, and with that in common everything else is just simple.
Here are a few photos I shot from the wedding Alyse and I captured in Galveston, TX. You might want to start out on the edge of your seat- cause the details Sarah put together for her wedding were simply awe inspiring. I felt like I had just stepped into a wedding from Style Me Pretty, and at once my photo-nerd-like excitement came out and I was in wedding photographer heaven. SO. MANY. DETAILS. It was a picture perfect day, and I had such a fun time capturing it's beauty and charming character. Alright go ahead, now it's your turn to take it all in. Enjoy! [AJ]
