Jon & Kim - Engagements!

I got a voicemail from Kim a few weeks ago, and before I even got the chance to listen to it, I knew it was going to say 1.) "Jon and I are ENGAGED!!!" and 2.) "When are you available for engagement photos?"

And I was right. :)

I met Kim my freshman year of high school, in English class. I was new to the school and didn't really know anybody. Since Kim's last name is Deitrich (for now!) and mine was Courtney, she was seated directly behind me, and I'll never forget the first thing I said to her, "Hey, want a kiss?" Fear not! I was holding out a handful of Hershey's Kisses - and just like that, we were instantly friends.

A lot of my favorite high school memories are with Kim, and her friendship is invaluable.

I am SO happy for Kim and Jon and had a lot of fun shooting their engagements. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in May! Enjoy the photographs! Love you both. [BC]
